Dr. Julian Alivia
General Dentist and Business Owner
Dr. Julian Alivia was born and raised in Northern California before moving to Henderson. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of California Santa Cruz and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. He is certified in clear aligners (SureSmile & Invisalign) and has undergone extensive clinical training in surgical placement and restoration of dental implants by the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and the California Implant Institute. Dr. Julian loves improving his patients’ smiles through cosmetic restorative dentistry. Hence the name “Brilliant Smiles Dentistry”.
“My goal is to provide high-quality dental care while building lasting relationships with my patients. I strive to help my patients feel comfortable and to address their needs and concerns. Creating brilliant smiles for my patients is truly a passion of mine because I see the positive impact it can have on their lives. I am also passionate about making a difference in the community. I’ve traveled to Jamaica on a mission trip providing free dental services to the underserved. I’ve also volunteered as a basketball coach for elementary school students and at non-profit organizations, including Special Olympics and Reading Partners. I enjoy spending my free time exploring with my wife, toddler son and family dog.”

Angela
Registered Dental Hygienist
Angela serves as the Registered Dental Hygienist for the practice. Angela graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene from Indiana University of South Bend. She moved from Indiana to Las Vegas in 2009. In her free time, Angela enjoys spending time with her two kids, finding fun things to do around town, and taking weekend road trips with them. She also loves going back to Indiana to visit family and friends.
Penny
Treatment Coordinator
Penny serves as the Treatment Coordinator for the practice. She was born in Mt. Clemens, Michigan before moving to Las Vegas. She graduated from Ferndale Medical and Dental Careers Institute for front and back dental office assisting. She has been working in the dental field for over 35 years. She enjoys interacting with and getting to know the patients and helping them receive dental care. In her free time, Penny enjoys traveling, dining and being outdoors. Most of all, she values time with her family and views her life as a miracle and a gift.

Dental Assistant
Kylie serves as a Dental Assistant for the practice. She is a Las Vegas local, born and raised. She has been working in the dental field for 4 years. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors and being creative.

Dental Assistant
Jo serves as a Dental Assistant for the practice. She been working in the dental field for over 12 years. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and makes delicious Filipino food.
Monique Wallace
Dental Assistant
Monique serves as a dental assistant here at Brilliant Smiles. She is from Oakland, California, and recently moved back to Las Vegas after living here previously. She attended Anthem College and has been a dental assistant for 10 years. In her free time she loves spending time with her two children and bowling.
